RECLAMATION ARTISTS

These three works were among many exhibited by an organization I cofounded with several Boston-based artists and students who wanted to express their strong feelings about parcels of "unclaimed" land-wastelands, full of trash, garbage, refuse and often home to indigents. They were very accessible but lay outside the awareness of most people living in the environs of Boston. All the sites later became subsumed as part of the property taken for 'vrhe Big Dig." We wanted to bring the public to witness that which they did not know about-- and are now about to loose.
